Fished Tuesday 16th from 10.30 - 2.30 and managed 2 browns, seemed harder this week, fish seem down and the water is quite murky so im thinking you need to get the flies right in front of their noses for them to take, dropped one rainbow too. Jamie has put straw bails attached to the bridge which will help clear up the water very soon so im looking forward to abit of stalking soon

Fished the bank holiday weekend, water now starting to clear up abit and the browns are still showing themselves alot, managed 5 browns and 2 rainbows, again on black and green. Also fished the last comp and had my best rainbow for a while a 4lb er. Some nice fish around this size and abit bigger jumping clear of the water so you know they are in there!

Haven't posted on here for a while but must keep it up. Firstly the water is in great condition with the fish easily seen in the top few feet of the water. I've just got back from a great morning out, fished 9.30-1 and pretty much lost count, between 10-15 with just as many takes, follows and a few lost. I started on a damsel, twitched through the surface, fish would come shooting towards the fly on contact with the water, then either giving chase or losing interest. I noticed they were in the mood for a chase or two so i put on a soldier palmer in red, it had a bright red tag which i think the fish really homed in on. Casting out and just 2-3 foot stripping pulls had the fish going nuts, swirling behing the fly, knocking it and finally giving chase with mouths wide open.

jamie has put in some fantastic fish recently, my fish ranged from 2-4lb, full finned and covered in spots and despite the warm weather they were not lethargic, 2 took me straight down to the backing sending the reel screaming.

Hello, another update, fished yesterday 13th june between 10-3, water still very clear, loads of fish around the upper layers of the water. I managed 9 which included 2 browns, mainly damsel casted at individual fish and twitched past their faces got their interest. Things did go quiet after lunch but i decided to try a colour i thought the fish may not have seen much and a small peach lure got me a load of follows and 4 of my last fish. I did fish a very slow sink line just to get under the surface but a floater i think would do just as well.
