The weekend saw the start of the Garnffrwd Championship 2009 / 2010 season.
Twenty anglers fished the day landing a fantastic total of 140 fish between them.
Jonathan Thomas new to the competition this year started with a commanding lead landing 8 fish of peg 7.
Alice Davies and Hugh Weir again new to the competition caught up with Jonathan soon after lunch, Hugh after a few good peg's then went into the lead.
Keven Bower runner up last season who didn't have a good start to the day found his form
by mid afternoon and clinched the lead on the very last peg to win the day landing a total
of 17 fish.
