The fishing over the last week has been excellent, on milder days fish have been rising well to emerging buzzers. Clive Jones from Ammanford had a good day catching and releasing 9 cracking trout fishing a small damsel just beneath the surface. John Aldwinckle caught his 12 fish on a blood worm and cat's whisker best fish just under 4lb, Lee Jones had 2 nice Rainbows best 6.12lb on a montana fished two to three feet down.

Over the next few weeks expect the fish to be feeding mostly on blood worms and the plentiful numbers shrimp in the lake but be ready for those sudden hatches of buzzers that will bring every fish in the laketo the surface to feed.
